Belize City teen survives murder attempt

Thursday, September 24, 2015. BMG: Triston Popper, an 18-year-old resident of Pickstock Street, Belize City, is hospitalized at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) after a shooting incident in the wee hours of this morning caused multiple gunshot wounds to his chest, back, thigh and left side of the abdomen.

Popper told police that around 12:02 a.m this morning, he was at his neighbor’s house socializing when he heard someone call his name from outside.

Upon opening the door, a dark complexion man fired several shots at Popper causing his injuries.
