Thursday, September 24th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly cloudy skies with a few showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain mainly along coastal areas this morning and increasing over most areas this afternoon and tonight.
Winds will be blowing from the East at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop to choppy.
High temperatures today are expected around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected tonight at 7:31 p.m. and a low tide this afternoon at 1:21 p.m.
The Sun will set at 5:47 p.m. this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for cloudy to overcast skies with several outbreaks of showers, thunderstorms or periods of rain over most areas.
