A situation report from the police reveals that on Saturday morning around 10:00 a.m., police visited the Northern Regional Hospital where they saw 24-year-old Jose Antonio Zepeda Jr. of Guinea Grass Village with chop wounds to the forehead.
Zepeda reported that on Friday night around 9:00 p.m. he was alone having a few drinks near a restaurant within the village when Adan Meza came up to him and demanded money. Zepeda reportedly told Meza that he did not have any money. Subsequently, Adan took out a machete and inflicted two chop wounds to Zepeda’s forehead.
Police have since arrested and charged 28-year-old Adan Alejandro Meza for the crimes of “aggravated assualt and grevious harm.”
