COLA meetingTuesday, October 6th, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: Citizens Organized for Liberty through Action (COLA) is entering choppy waters as it targets Pick stock area representative Wilfred Elrington to lose his seat in the November 4 general election.

The organisation is to hold a public meeting on Thursday, October 8 at 7:30 in the evening on New Road in the Smiling Meats parking lot.

COLA’s aim, according to President Geovannie Brackett, is to ensure that Elrington cannot again be appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs if the United Democratic Party returns to Government and speakers will attack Elrington’s handling of the Guatemala claim.

Elrington has two challengers but COLA endorsed neither; indeed, the organisation says it will endorse no party or candidate.

Blackett admits there are risks but insists that COLA acts from neither financial nor political motivation but national interest.
