Man shot while playing basketball

Friday, October 9^th, 2015. BMG: A shooting incident at a basketball court in Roaring Creek village last night around 10:00 p.m. left 22-year-old David Cruz with a bullet lodged in his right leg.

Police visited Cruz at the Western Regional Hospital where he told them that while playing basketball, a male person wearing a mask approached him and fired a single shot, causing the injury to his leg.

Police are investigating the incident.
