Sunday, October 10, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting sunny skies with cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight.
A few showers and thunderstorms will affect mostly the interior this afternoon, then mainly the south and coastal areas tonight and tomorrow morning.
Winds will be blowing from the East to Northeast at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state will be light chop to choppy
High temperatures today are expected around 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 82 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected tonight at 8:44 p.m. and a low tide this afternoon at 2:43 p.m.
The Sun will set at 5:35 p.m. this evening.
The extended forecast into Monday morning calls for partly cloudy skies with a few showers or thunderstorms mainly inland Sunday afternoon, with showers and thunderstorms becoming isolated Sunday night and Monday morning.
