Wednesday, October 14th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting cloudy spells today with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly over the sea and along the coast. Skies will be cloudy tonight with some showers and a few thunderstorms over most areas.
Winds will be blowing from the North-Northeast at five to15 knots and the sea state will be choppy, sometimes becoming locally rough. A small craft caution is in effect.
High temperatures today are expected around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected tonight at 10:37 p.m. and a low tide this afternoon at 4:38 p.m.
The Sun will set at 5:32 p.m. this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for cloudy to overcast skies with some showers, a few thunderstorms and periods of rain over most areas, but especially along the coast.
