Illegal immigrants detained in OW

Thursday, October 22, 2015.  Orange Walk Bureau Reporting: Orange Walk police are reporting that they have detained eight immigrants from neighbouring countries for illegal entry into Belize.

The group comprises of four salvadorans and four Hondurans of which three are minors. They are expected to be fined for illegal entry and deported to their respective birth countries.

The public sentiment is that the stop order issued for a cease in vehicular check points are contributing to the spike in undocumented immigrants into the country.
