National Volleyball Championships kick off

Friday, November 6^th, 2015. Chrisbert Garcia Reporting: This year’s high school volleyball nationals, hosted in the Toledo District, started this afternoon at 3:00 with female matches being played all through the evening up until around 6:00, after which the males got their chance to perform for the hundreds of fans.

The games are being hosted at the Julian Cho Technical High School Auditorium, which is located just a few miles outside of Punta Gorda Town and teams from all across the country arrived earlier today to compete for the 2015 national volleyball title.

Power houses like Saint Catherine’s Academy, St. Johns and Toledo Community College among others will be battling all day tomorrow to determine who will reign supreme.
