Police bust gun on election day

crime sceneFriday, November 6th, 2015. BMG: Two Dangriga men were arrested and charged on Election Day for the offense of “Kept firearm and ammunition without a gun license”, after police recovered a firearm that was in their possession.

Around 6:45 on Wednesday evening, officers in a police mobile spotted 20 year old Emmai Krammer Valerio and 21 year old Marcos Zuniga, double riding a bicycle on Ecumenical Drive and upon seeing the officers, the men rode into an open lot and threw an object as police pursued them.

Officers caught up to the men and the object, a .38 revolver containing two live rounds and one expended shell, was recovered. The men were then arrested and charged.
