Police looking for stolen cycles

Tuesday, November 10, 2015.  BMG: Independence police are currently looking for a Blue stolen_motorcycle1Meilun motorcycle, property of 20-year-old Jose August from Bella Vista Village.

According to August, between 5:00 a.m. on October 15th and 9:00 p.m. October 16th, his motor cycle bearing license plate DGA-M0604 valued at $3,795.00 was stolen from behind his house in Bella Vista Village.

Another cycle was also stolen from 25-year-old Police Constable Nathaniel Ayala. He reported that he had parked his 250cc Meilun motorcycle valued at $2,500, near a checkpoint in Sandhill Village and when he returned, it was missing.

Ayala had left the motorcycle near the BAHA checkpoint on the morning of November 4th and returned early the next morning to retrieve it but someone else had already taken it.

Police investigations continue.
