Chrisbert Garcia Reporting: In an effort to enhance our health system in Belize, the Ministry of Health, headed by Minister Pablo Marin, continues to seek ways in which it can scale up and maintain regional health clinics as well as hospitals to satisfy the growing health demands.
As a step towards accomplishing its goal, the Ministry lobbied for and was able to receive six new ambulances, which were handed out today at the Ministry of Health parking lot in Belmopan. Recipients of these ambulances were: Punta Gorda Hospital, San Antonio Polyclinic, Independence Village, Dangriga, Orange Walk and San Ignacio/Benque Viejo.
Regional managers and polyclinic administrators of the mentioned health institutions, picked up their ambulances from Marin, which are expected to improve health services countrywide.
