Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Chrisbert Garcia Reporting: The keys to 10 new police patrol vehicles were handed over to Commissioner of Police Allen Whylie, by Minister of National Security John Saldivar, earlier today in Belmopan.
These vehicles, at a total cost of BZ $280,000, were purchased by the Government of Belize through the Ministries of Finance and National Security to assist the police formations in Belize City, Ladyville, Belmopan, Dangriga, San Ignacio, Independence Village and the Special Patrol Unit.
This handing over of vehicles is not the only one for today, as six new ambulances were also given to hospitals and polyclinics this morning.
