Friday, November 13, 2015. Orange walk Bureau Reporting: Orange Walk Police were called out to the La Inmaculada Credit Union after receiving a suspicious call around 8:35 a.m. stating that a bomb may have been planted in the institution.
Authorities quickly cordoned off the perimeter and vacated everyone from the immediate area so as to carry out an investigation.
We understand a bomb expert was called in to assess the situation but came up empty handed. The apparent prank call is what officials at the LICU are calling “too much of a coincidence”.
