Belize City police find guns

Monday, November 16, 2015.  BMG: While conducting an anti-drug operation on Sunday, members of the Precinct Two Strike Team Two and Special branch, made the discovery of two firearms in an abandoned lot on Iguana Street Extension.  belize-police

At around 10:14 a.m., officers found a 9 millimeter firearm with an extended clip containing six live rounds of ammunition and after making further checks in the area, found a black Mossberg brand 12 gauge shotgun.

Both firearms were labelled as “Found Property” since no one was in the immediate area at the time of the search.
