Monday, November 23, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: Officer Commanding Eastern Division (South), Senior Superintendent Chester Williams would not divulge information regarding the weekend detention of several members of the Taylor’s Alley faction and known gang associates, the word on the street is that it was caused by an “alleged shootout”, in which no one was injured.
The shooting is said to have occurred sometime on Saturday in the vicinity of Taylor’s Alley.
Senior Superintendent Williams told the media that an intervention was held this morning to diffuse what could potentially evolve into more street violence.
This involved counselors and members of the Department as well as noted gangster Kenneth “Big Tom” Flowers, deported from the U.S. after beating a murder charge. Police will keep an eye on the area to ensure no escalation.
