Police nab drug offenders in Roaring Creek

Tuesday, November 24^th, 2015. BMG: James Escarpeta of Neal Street, Roaring Creek Village, was arrested and is pending charges for the offense of “Drug Trafficking” on Friday evening, November 20th, following a search conducted at his house by members of the police’s Special Branch Tactical Response Squad.

That search was done on the strength of a warrant and resulted in the discovery of 84 grams of cannabis which was inside a plastic bag that Escarpeta threw upon sight of the officers and was later retrieved, then opened in front of him.

Earlier that same evening, the team of officers was patrolling in Ontario Village when they stopped and searched Kendis Trevor Gongora, finding on his person a bag containing 85 grams of cannabis. Gongora was taken to the Belmopan Police station and is pending charges for the offense of “Drug Trafficking”.
