Public cautioned to be on the look out for escaped prisoner

By Chrisbert Garcia : The public is asked to be on the lookout for escaped prisoner, 27-year-old Lawrence Bernardez of the Lakeland area in Dangriga, who broke free while being transported to the Hattieville prison yesterday.

Bernardez was in the back of a police pickup truck with two others, when he somehow freed himself and made a run for it as the truck slowed down at a speed bump.

If seen, the public is asked to kindly inform the nearest police station immediately. He is considered to be dangerous.
