Aaron Humes Reporting: Disgruntled stevedores working at the Port of Belize have walked off the job early this afternoon, accusing the management of going back on their Word.
Guy Neal, a member of the Christian Workers Union negotiating team, told us that Port CEO Arturo Vasquez has backtracked on commitments to retirement and other benefits for no good reason.
There is also no reason, Neal says, and that Workers should not have completed their collective bargaining agreement with the company.
A meeting is scheduled for this afternoon.
