By Victor Castillo Sr. The month of December is the month of sharing and caring and the Belize Bank Limited is good at it.
Yesterday at the Radisson Fort George, 110 disabled kids along with the staff and administration from Stella Maris School in Belize City enjoyed a Christmas Party that was hosted by the Belize Bank.
For the seventh year in a row, the Belize Bank has sponsored the event, providing the children with the full trimmings of a Christmas meal while also engaging them in various games, face painting, and even dance competitions.
The main highlight of the day was when Santa Clause arrived to distribute gifts to each and every one of them. The gifts were an individual contribution from the staff of Belize Bank who made it possible for them to share in the joy of the season.
Shakira Tsai, general manager of Marketing at the Belize Bank stated in an interview with the media that she was honored in seeing so many happy faces in one place, especially kids with disabilities.
This year, the Radisson partnered with the Belize Bank for the Christmas Party.
