By Chrisbert Garcia: After receiving reports from Motor Solutions on the Hummingbird Highway in Belmopan, police visited the compound on Tuesday and found 31-year-old Clifford Vernon on the premises with a black Michelin floor jack and an extension cord.
38-year-old John Banman, a businessman of the company, told officers that over the past few months someone had been going to the compound and stealing items which had amounted to a total value of $2,240.
As a result of investigations, officers visited an area yesterday, located about 25 feet away from the Motor Solutions compound where they recovered a white air conditioning unit, a radiator frame, two Atlas brand batteries and a white and black vehicle battery.
Vernon was detained and is pending charges.
