PM Barrow leaves the country

By BMG: The Office of the Prime Minister informs the general public that Prime Minister Dean Barrow leaves the country today, Thursday, December 10th, 2015 to attend a medical appointment and to take personal leave with his family.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to return to Belize on Wednesday, December 16th, 2015.

Upon the Prime Minister’s departure, the Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Gaspar Vega will act as Prime Minister from Thursday December 10th to December 14th, 2015. Thereafter, the Hon. John Saldivar, Minister of National Security will act as Prime Minister from December 14th to December 16th, 2015, until the arrival of the Prime Minister.
