By BMG Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers and periods of rain will affect mainly coastal areas this morning, decreasing and becoming generally isolated this afternoon and tonight.
Winds will be blowing from the East at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy to moderate.
High temperatures today are expected around 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 87 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 75 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this evening at 6:30 and a low tide this afternoon at 12:10.
The Sun will set at 5:23 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for generally isolated showers.
