Woman accuses police officer of raping her in police custody

By Chrisbert Garcia: A San Ignacio police officer has been detained and is pending investigation by his peers after a 25-year-old female of Bullet Tree reported that he raped her while she was detained in police custody.

The female told officers that around 5:30 a.m. yesterday, she was taken out of her cell by the male police officer who allegedly took her into a dark room and then raped her.
