By Aaron Humes: Former Ghost Town Crips leader Roger Anthony, facing a murder charge, was charged with 7 offences when he appeared today before Magistrate Carlon Mendoza.
Anthony was charged with 2 counts of assaulting a police officer, using threatening words, 2 counts of using indecent words, aggravated assault, damage to property and boisterous behavior.
He was released on a bail of $1,500 and his case was adjourned until March 18. The incident occurred on January 18 at Precinct 1 Police Station but circumstances are not clear.
We erroneously reported that Roger Anthony was accused of murder when he was acquitted of this charge. We apologize for the error.
