Man charged for raping step-daughter with knife to neck

/breakingbelizenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/2.-RAPE4.jpg">By Chrisbert Garcia: The stepfather of a 12-year-old female in Stann Creek District has been detained and is pending three separate charges of ‘rape’, ‘aggravated assault’ and ‘threatening words’ for acts committed against the female minor.

Accompanied by her uncle on Monday afternoon, the minor told police that on January 14th around 3:30 p.m. after she got home from school, her stepfather tied her hands behind her back, covered her mouth and eyes with a rag, then placed a knife to her neck and raped her.

The following day, the minor told officers that she was again raped by her stepfather while at home and a medical examination conducted on her yesterday, certified that she was indeed carnally known.
