Roaring Creek man charged for 5 grams of weed

/breakingbelizenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/weed-bust1.jpg">By Chrisbert Garcia: Around 2:30 yesterday afternoon, a search at the residence of Roaring Creek resident, Silvestro Alejandro Chiac, resulted in his arrest and he was charged for ‘possession of controlled drugs’.

Belmopan Police along with a Canine Unit, working on information received, visited a two story wooden house in the “Another World Area”, where upon approaching, they saw Chiac standing at the door of the upper flat and informed him of their intentions to conduct a search.

The canine quickly found a small plastic bag inside the house which contained 5.7 grams of cannabis, for which Chiac was informed of the offense committed and taken to the Belmopan Police Station.
