Belize City police find gun and ammo

By Chrisbert Garcia: After being called to an area near the Euphrates Avenue Basketball Court last night around 8:00, police saw a motorcycle on the ground with a gun magazine beside it and learned that a male person was seen running form the area with a firearm.

Officers then searched the area, finding a silver Millennium Pro Taurus .45 ACP Pistol with one live round of ammunition in the chamber, at the corner of Cairo and Glenn Streets. The gun and ammunition was then deposited as “found property” since no one was in the immediate area at the time of discovery.
