Gradual increase in moisture today

radar feature February 4By BMG Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting cloudy skies at times with a few showers mainly along the coast this morning, then over most areas this afternoon.

Winds will be blowing from the East-Northeast at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

High temperatures today are expected around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 91 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 76 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected this evening at 6:42 and a low tide this afternoon at 12:36.

The Sun will set at 5:49 this evening.

The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for some cloudy spells with a few showers or some periods of rain across the country.
