By Chrisbert Garcia: Earlier today, 15 teachers in Corozal received Early Childhood Education certificates at that district’s Education Centre, after completing a MOEtraining that will make them competent with skills and knowledge to positively impact three and four year old pre-schoolers.

A press release from the Ministry of Education states that the aim of this project is to ensure that pre-schoolers have the opportunity to develop holistically, socially, culturally, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, intellectually and was designed to enhance access to Quality Primary and Early Childhood Development Education Services for children under the sub-project of Our Lady of Guadeloupe R.C pre-school construction.

The construction of that pre-school building was funded by the Government of Belize as a sub-project under the Basic Needs Trust Fund 7, Caribbean Development Bank and the training was administered by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
