Two men in Sandhill escape gunfire this weekend

By BBN Staff: Ladyville police responded to a shooting incident in Sandhill Village, Belize District, on generic-shooting-graphicThursday January 11 and upon arrival at the scene, officers found that fortunately, no-one was injured.

Around 9:00 p.m. that day, the 19-year-old told police that he and his friend were socializing in front of his home when a dark male emerged from nearby bushes and opened fire in their direction.

The two managed to escaped the incident unscathed and have identified the shooter. Police continue to investigate the matter.
