$80,000 vehicle destroyed by fire

By BBN Staff: A vehicle estimated at $80,000 was damaged by fire yesterday afternoon around 3:30 as its owner, 29-year-old Souad Assad Lindo was driving along the George Price Highway.

Lindo, a Ladyville resident, said upon reaching mile 25 on the highway, she noticed smoke coming from the bonnet of her Ford Edge SUV and then the vehicle became engulfed in flames.

She was not injured in the incident.
