City Cops find weed and ammo

By BBN Staff: The Southside Strike Team 3, Special Branch and K-9 Unit, all attached to the Belize City Police Department, conducted searches on Queen Charlotte Street yesterday morning, resulting in the discovery of weed and ammunition.

In an abandoned lot on that street, officers found a black travel bag containing 25 live rounds of .38 Aguila Brand ammunition and 1.14 pounds (518 grams) of weed. The find was labelled and deposited as “found property” since no one was in the immediate area at the time.
