Dangriga Police seize over a pound of weed

By BBN Staff: In three separate searches conducted by Dangriga Police on Friday, between the hours of 5:00 and 9:00 a.m., a total of 537 grams (1.2 pounds) of cannabis was found.

First on Mangrove Street, officers searched an empty lot in which they found 148 grams, then another 313 grams in another empty lot in the Wagierale area. Officers also found 76 grams in Hope Creek Village.

All of the cannabis was labelled and deposited as “found property” since no one was in any of the areas at the time searches were conducted.
