By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. A few showers will occur mostly along Southern coastal areas this morning and tonight, then over inland areas this afternoon.
Winds will be blowing from the Northeast at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be at a light chop.
High temperatures today are expected around 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 75 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this afternoon at 4:57 and a low tide this morning at 10:45.
The sun will set at 6:00 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night is for similar weather conditions to prevail.
