radar feature March 8By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight with little or no rainfall.

Winds will be blowing from the East and Southeast at 10-20 knots with occasional gusts and the sea state will be moderate, becoming rough at times. A small craft caution is in effect.

High temperatures today are expected around 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected this morning at 9:47 and a low tide this afternoon at 3:33.

The sun will set at 6:01 this evening.

The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for similar weather to prevail.
