tropicBy Dalila Ical: Tropic Air Belize continued its nationwide #TropicGivesBack charitable fundraising campaign by giving to Caye Caulker on their second round of fund raising.

The company handed $400 to “Arms of Love”, a cancer support group in Caye Caulker.

Receiving the check was Enelda Rosado of the group. In a release from the company, Tropic Air’s President, John Greif III is quoted as saying, “Our love of People and Community is our most powerful fuel, which is why we have a long history of helping through nonprofit support. We are committed to giving back not just nationally, but in the Communities where our Customers and Employees live and work.”

“Arms of Love” is a non-profit organization that helps cancer patients get medical attention and emotional support on Caye Caulker.

In January, Tropic Air handed a $500 donation to the Dangriga Red Cross. The way the money is raised is by deducting one dollar from every ticket bought at the month’s selected station. The receiving organization is chosen by that station’s staff.

The collection made in March will be donated in Belmopan while April’s collection will be handed to an organization in San Ignacio.
