Belmopan man murdered on Good Friday

By BBN Staff: After a dance concluded at popular Belmopan City night club, La Cabana this morning around 3:00, police were called by a food vendor who saw a badly wounded man leaning against the front wheel of a vehicle and bleeding profusely.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers learned the man to be 37-year-old Noe Cruz of the Las Flores area in Belmopan, who was observed to be sitting against the front wheel of a car, bleeding from a cut wound above his left eye, as well as head and neck injuries.

Cruz’s body was taken to the Western Regional Hospital where it was pronounced dead on arrival. Police investigation continues.
