In court, after the charges were read to him, Garbutt told the court that the minor was outside the court and that she did not want to further the case against him. But he was formally remanded until May.
Garbutt is also serving 3 months for possession of a small amount of marijuana which police say they found on the bed at his home during their investigation. He was fined $100 to have been paid by July 17, but the remand ensures that he will still be behind bars, therefore the alternative sentence goes into effect.
