Jewelry and gun stolen in armed burglary

burglary bannerBy BBN Staff: A truck driver of Camalote Village, Cayo District, reported to police on Tuesday that his home was burglarized and his maid held at gunpoint while he was away at his ranch.

33-year-old Gladwin Penner told officers that he received a call from his maid who said she was held at gunpoint and stolen were an assortment of jewelry valued at $3,000, along with a black Rugger SR 9-millimeter pistol valued at $2,500.

Police investigations continue.
