By Aaron Humes: Tonight a mother is hoping and praying for the best that her missing teenager is returned home safely after going missing for 5 days and counting.
Third form student Shakti Lakeya Virginia Flowers, a 15 year old attending Edward P. Yorke High School, did not go home after attending morning classes last week Friday, April 22, 2016.
Shakti’s mother, Shirley Jacobs of Punta Gorda Town, has made a formal police report but there has been no progress made.
Today according to Jacobs, Shakti called her to say that she was okay but would not say where she was.
Shakti is East Indian, 5 feet 5 inches tall, slim built with long black hair.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Shakti Lakeya Virginia Flowers is asked to please call the nearest police station or her mother at 634-0445.
