Two men shot in city on Sunday

By BBN Staff: A shooting incident in Belize City on Sunday night injured two men as they sat on the steps of a house on Antelope Street.

Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital at around 8:30 p.m. and saw Shane Orlando Valdez, 25, as well as Anthony Arnold, 30, both residents of the house, suffering from gunshot wounds to the thigh and ankle respectively.

Initial investigations revealed that the men were having a conversation on their steps when shots were fired at them from an area across their yard. Police are investigating.
