$15,000 car burned in San Pedro

By BBN Staff: San Pedro Police are investigating a case of arson on the island that cost 29-year-old Wendy Lineth Carpio, damages of $15,000 to her blue, 4-door Ford car.

Carpio says she was sleeping inside her San Marcos area home when she was awoken by her neighbor banging on her door and alerting her that her car was engulfed in flames.

She went outside and saw it for herself then alerted the authorities.
