21st meeting of Pesticides Control Boards to be held in Belize

San Ignacio Resort HotelBy BBN Staff: A press release issued earlier today, announced that this year’s meeting of the Coordinating Group of Pesticides Control Boards (CGPC) in the Caribbean, will be held in Belize from June 6–10 at San Ignacio’s Resort Hotel in the Cayo District.

The body’s 21st meeting, funded by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the European Development Fund, will include a 3-day planning workshop under the theme; “A changing climate! A changing world! Responsible pest and pesticide management – our responsibility”.

Over the course of five days, participants will discuss a variety of projects to be implemented for better control and disposal of pesticides.

    I appreciate that people who think a lot about the harmful sides and remedy of pesticides, keep it up… but I have a request to the common people, don’t use pesticides by own always get assistance of a professional pest controller, who knows well that how to use fewer amounts of pesticides or null pesticides to solve the pest issues.
