Moisture is increasing over the area

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop mainly along the coast this morning, inland this afternoon and over the South and coast tonight

Winds will be blowing from the East at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy to moderate.

High temperatures today are expected around 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 82 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected tonight at 9:35 and a low tide this afternoon at 3:05.

The sun will set at 6:25 this evening.

The extended forecast into Saturday night calls for cloudy spells with a few showers and thunderstorms to affect mainly inland and northern areas.
