By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting cloudy skies with some showers and thunderstorms mostly inland at first this afternoon, then over most areas this evening and tonight.
Winds will be blowing from the West-Southwest at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy to moderate.
High temperatures today are expected around 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 81 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected tonight at 11:50 and a low tide this evening at 5:33.
The sun will set at 6:26 this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night is for continuing cloudy and showery weather conditions to prevail.
