By BBN Staff: Owner of Driftwood Beach Bar in Hopkins Village, Denise Mccreaery, 47, reported to police on Monday that on the 12th of May, she closed her establishment and went to Loggerhead Pub on the other side of the village.
After closing at 11:30 p.m., she returned to her home at 1:30 a.m. the following morning, which is located directly beside her bar, and noticed that both her cabana and bar were broken into.
An assortment of electronic items, jewelry, liquor and $660 in cash, all to a total value of $5,208 were stolen. Police are investigating the burglary.
