Moist conditions to continue

By BBN Staff: The national meteorological service of Belize is calling for conditions to become slightly moist and unstable for the next 24 hours.

The 24 hour forecast is for partly cloudy skies this afternoon with isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms developing inland. It will become cloudy at times tonight.

Tomorrow morning is expected to bring a few showers or thunderstorms affecting mainly southern and coastal areas of the country.

Winds will blow to the east at 10 to 20 knots.

The sea state will be choppy to moderate.

High temperatures are expected in the coast at 89 degrees Fahrenheit; inland at 95 degrees Fahrenheit and in the hills at 81 degrees Fahrenheit.

A low tide is expected 8:55 tonight and a high tide tomorrow morning at 3:01.

The extended outlook for Saturday afternoon is for few showers or thunderstorms to affect mainly inland areas moving in southern and coastal areas by Saturday night. Weather conditions are expected to improve by Sunday.
