Man murdered on Sunday evening shooting

BBN Staff: A Belize City resident of Fabers Road, Marlon Bonner, 34, was shot multiple times yesterday evening while at his neighborhood’s basketball court and died at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).

Initial investigation revealed that Bonner was on the court when a lone gunman approached and fired several shots, hitting him to the back, head and chest. At around 6:00 p.m., he was transported to the KHMH but was pronounced dead an hour later.

Police continue to investigate.
