Burley Card charged over sex

By Aaron Humes: 27 year old Burley Kenyon Murphy Card, who goes by Burley Card or Burley Murphy, has been charged over a sexual relationship with a 15 year old girl between November 2015 and May 2016.

Murphy was hit with 5 counts of unlawful sexual intercourse upon a minor, 15 years and 8 months.

The minor and her mother alleges that sometime between November 2015 and May 2016, he had sexual intercourse with the minor, then 15 years and 8 months, later confirmed by medical examination.

No plea was taken and Murphy was remanded by Magistrate Deborah Rogers until August 31, 2016.

Murphy alleged that police refused to listen to his side of the story when they detained him; but Magistrate Rogers advised that he seek legal counsel.
